Benta renforce ses équipes business development dédiées aux activités de sous-traitance pharmaceutique CMO/CDMO. Basée à Lyon et Milan, le laboratoire pharmaceutique de dimension internationale s’adresse aux acteurs de la pharmacie, des génériques et des biosimilaires, avec une ambition claire de développement commercial et de partenariats stratégiques.

Location: Milan & Lyon

Benta is looking for a dynamic and well-connected Business Development Director to support the expansion of our Contract Manufacturing (CMO) activities across Europe.

This role is ideal for a senior professional with a strong network within Big Pharma, Mid-size Pharma, Generics, and Biosimilars, and a proven track record in driving strategic partnerships and commercial growth.

We offer a broad range of EU and FDA-approved manufacturing solutions, including Oral Solid Dosage, Semi-Solid Dosage, High Potent products, Liquid dosage forms, API manufacturing, Sterile products…

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, develop, and secure new CMO business opportunities across Europe
• Lead negotiations and close commercial agreements aligned with Benta’s growth strategy
• Promote Benta’s manufacturing capabilities and value proposition
• Monitor market trends and identify expansion opportunities in targeted regions
• Collaborate closely with internal technical and operational teams to ensure successful project execution

Needed Profile:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Business Development within the pharmaceutical CMO/CDMO space
• Strong network within Big Pharma, Mid-size Pharma, Generics, and Biosimilars
• Solid understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulatory environments (FDA/EMA)
• Proven ability to generate leads, negotiate, and close deals
• Based in or willing to operate across Milan and/or Lyon
• Fluent in English; French and/or Italian is a strong advantage
